SHOPLIGHT : THE ANVIL HOTEL

We would like to introduce to you one of our newest stockists, The Mercantile at the Anvil Hotel!

They shared some of their story with us to share with you. Read more and check them out! @anvilhotel

The Mercantile, is situated in the guest lobby of Anvil Hotel, located right in the heart of downtown Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Jackson serves as one of the most desirable places to travel and live in the country. Surrounded by the Grand Tetons, Jackson is the gateway to two National Parks as well as the home to some of the finest skiing in the US. Being completely surrounded by nature, our community is filled with inspiration and creativity.

The Mercantile was envisioned by Anvil Hotel’s owner, hotelier Erik Warner, who wanted to work with local artisans that celebrate the culture of Jackson. The Mercantile is outfitted with travel necessities, a well-edited library, branded signature and staple items, and grab-and-go snacks. In addition to featuring beautifully packaged provisions, the lobby offers local, freshly baked treats and coffee from Jackson’s Snake River Roasters. At Anvil Hotel, we pride ourselves with creating a carefully curated experience of Jackson, seen through the lens of the Anvil. Our retail shop and e-commerce site is one of our strongest examples of our passion for working with small and regional artisans and celebrating the culture and style of Jackson Hole.

At Anvil Hotel, we make sure that The Mercantile retail space and lobby serves as an interactive space, a community to make guests feel at home. You are only a stranger here but once, after all. The Mercantile has a retail coordinator, Kate Rogers who engages with guests and locals alike stopping by to grab coffee, checking in to stay with us, or relaxing during our hotel happy hour. We will help them find everything they need.

We have sourced throughout the west to find artists and makers who align well with the Anvil brand. As our guests know, Jackson Hole is filled with unlimited experience and adventure. We chose Ginew clothes to carry in the shop because they are not only fashion friendly and perfect for any occasion - they are made of high quality materials that are durable and breathable for a day exploring Jackson Hole.
