The Superior Bandana is a conceptual and design exploration of Ojibwe and Oneida symbols and place. Place + Water to be specific. Our ancestral lands all have significant bodies of water. Lake Superior - Gitchi Gummi - is the greatest of lakes with it's stories, stones, and waves. Our culture and traditions are rooted all along these waters...for us to be here is to be home. The bandana has a buttery soft hand...you will love it. The split fountain technique of printing results in each bandana being slightly unique.
This bandana was made in connection with the Lifewtr Life Unseen Campaign. Check out all of the artists involved in this campaign at Lifeunseen dot lifewtr dot com!
