RIP CITY: BLAZERS + GINEW

Amanda Bruegl (Oneida & Stockbridge-Munsee) co-owns Ginew, the only Native American-owned denim company. She is also the only Native American gynecologic cancer surgeon-researcher in America. Native American women are twice as likely to die from cervical cancer than the general population. Amanda designed the Ginew + RIPCITY "Made By Her" piece using traditional woodland style beadwork and infused turquoise, the color for cervical cancer awareness. Check out the WOMEN IN SPORTS event this week with the Portland Trail Blazers. The GINEW - RIPCITY tee shirt is only available in the RIPCITY CLOTHING store. Ginew will donate 100% of their profits from this product to the OHSU Northwest Native American Center of Excellence to train the next generation of Native American physicians. Special thanks to the PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS for including Ginew in the "Made by Her" series AND a huge THANK YOU to the amazing women who make this world a better place for everyone.
