Copper Canoe Woman Bright Star Earrings
ABALONE INLAY + BRIGHT STAR EARRINGS
HANDCRAFTED BY NATIVE AMERICAN WOMEN
The Bright Star earring was named by Vina and Mike's 6-year-old son, Hongvi, who simply said, "It’s a star and stars shine bright." This design is a reminder of the light within each of us. Though small and understated, "Bright Star" makes a powerful statement with its radiant abalone inlay, capturing the shimmer and shine of starlight.
The abalone reflects a spectrum of colors, symbolizing our right to be bright lights in the world. This piece adds a touch of cosmic glow to any outfit, reminding us that even the smallest stars can illuminate the darkest nights. Perfect for those who embrace their inner light, "Bright Star" is a celebration of simplicity, wonder, and the joy of shining bright. Size: 1 inch by 1 inch Material: acrylic, abalone inlay Hardware: silver-plated brass

"Through art I’ve become connected to my roots in ways I never imagined. This journey has been an unraveling, a reclamation of Indigenous womanhood and of creation. I am grateful for my identity, my culture, that I carry in this physical realm, and I am grateful for you. Without your support it would be so much harder to be vulnerable and share parts of my soul I’d otherwise keep hidden. I am grateful to be my true self with you. All work comes from kind intentions and hopefully my most authentic self.I hope you are good, I hope you are taken care of, sending you light and love. Tkleco, Tkleco." - Vina Brown
