DIRECTIONAL HUES THROUGH LIFE'S SEASONS

Native American Four Directions Necklace

FOUR DIRECTIONS: A JOURNEY + LESSONS LIFE PROVIDES

In our communities, the colors of the four directions guide us through the seasons of our respective journey. All things are done in a circle and during each phase of life you exist within and face a direction while drawing lessons and teachings from the other directions. Our teachings are not monolithic... not every community follows the four-directions the same way. Erik Brodt - Ojibwe, co-founder of Ginew, shares what he was taught. Team Ginew invites you to learn more.

We’ve heard it said that “It takes 100 lifetimes to learn all the teachings of a single direction...so be humble and kind to yourself as you open your life and mind to the teachings.” The Four Directions represent the teachings offered to all of us, if we are but to listen with a good heart and sound mind.
