 WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT WAX CANVAS?

Blue navy wax canvas lined coat made by Native American Ginew

 STRENGTH

The canvas is woven with ring-spun yarn creating a strength that exceeds the historical U.S. Military requirements for the construction of this fabric. The majority of or wax canvas outwear is dyed and finished by a 7th-generation family business. These 10.10 oz. Army Duck wax canvas garments are versatile, durable and weather-resistant.

MATERIAL EXCELLENCE + WATER RESISTANT

The special weave + wax makes wax canvas water-resistant yet breathable. It has been used for centuries for its durability as well as its flexibility in many different applications including apparel items. It's perfect for rider jackets, coats, hats, and more. Plus: it's super easy to clean. Simply hose it off and it's ready for your next adventure.

 WHAT ABOUT THE WAX?

A proprietary blend of food or pharmaceutical-grade waxes are used, with no environmentally damaging Fluoropolymers, solvents or formaldehyde. This is not an oil cloth which is typically greasy. Our wax canvas jackets, coats and vest are waxed, not oiled.
