WATER RESISTANT WAX CANVAS + HEIRLOOM QUALITY + BRASS HARDWARE
LIMITED PRODUCTION

The Wax Rider Canvas Coat is inspired by my grandfather and early Harley Davidson® motorcycle club jackets. The rider coat pays homage him, who commuted weekly from the Mohican Indian Reservation to weld for Harley Davidson® during the 1950's and 1960's. When you wear it, you are wearing a coat built to honor grandfather and his life. We built the coat with his characteristics and values. Resilience. Bravery. Honesty. Dedication. Strength. Durability. Toughness.

The coat is made of 10.10 oz. Army Duck wax canvas, Rancho Arroyo wool fabric by Pendelton®, custom quilted satin sleeve lining, custom Ginew® hardware, and features a modern fit. It features two front side pockets, two front chest pockets, and a banded collar. Each coat is sourced and constructed in the USA.

Modifications from numerous Wisconsin moto-club jackets of the era have been incorporated into one coat. We applied a banded collar, slimmed the sides, lengthened the back, and extended the arms. The wax canvas material has been made for the US military by the same family for seven generations. Go ahead - try to wear it out.

WHAT MAKES WAX CANVAS SPECIAL
Strength: The canvas is woven with ring-spun yarn creating a strength that exceeds the historical U.S. Military requirements for the construction of this fabric. Each garment is dyed and finished by a 7th-generation family business. These 10.10 oz. Army Duck wax canvas garments are versatile, durable and weather-resistant.

What about the wax? A proprietary blend of food or pharmaceutical grade waxes are used, with no environmentally damaging Fluoropolymers, solvents or formaldehydes. This is not an oil cloth. Team Ginew is honored to share these heirloom quality items that can be handed down to the next generation. WEAR WITH SPIRIT
