THUNDERBIRD HANDKNIT SWEATER
100% WOOL + UNISEX SIZING + HEIRLOOM QUALITY

Meet Ginew's first sweater! (Some call it a sweater-jacket). Heirloom-quality, hand-knit construction incorporates the Ojibwe Thunderbird with hues inspired by the colors of autumn...the thunderclouds build and bring in new life and expectations.

The Thunderbird design, launched in 2016, is Ginew's interpretation of an Ojibwe tribal symbol.
"Versions of this symbol are everywhere around the reservation. When I was a kid, the Thunderbird icon was on cars, canoes, sides of barns and homes. It was even carved into logs I'd discover as I walked deep into the woods." - Erik Brodt, Ginew's co-founder.
