ICONIC CHIEF INSPIRED BY JUDD'S PAINTINGS
GINEW + STEVEN PAUL JUDD

Native Americana made for all to wear = Native + Non-Native. The only rule: WEAR WITH SPIRIT!

The center back print is a double-headed Sitting Bull. The image of the iconic Chief is pulled from one of Steven's paintings and duplicated to emulate the positioning of a king on a playing card. Sitting Bull is printed in navy plastisol ink with the geometric pattern behind and a split fountain of sunset colors ringing around it. The sunset is inspired by the ones we see on the American plains. The chest logo is of Judd's signature + Ginew, which is also represented on the back graphic.

About the Artist:
Steven Paul Judd (Màutáñ) is a Kiowa + Choctaw artist residing in Native America - Oklahoma, USA. He is an accomplished force walking the edge of the Native American cultural re-emergence in the United States. Steven is a gifted creative who melds his Kiowa + Choctaw perspective with popular culture and thought. He is a widely known visual artist, filmmaker, speaker, and writer who makes people think, laugh, and dream.

A prolific visualist whose mash-ups of Native experiences and disposable American pop culture are sly and often downright funny.
