SMALL-BATCH GARMENT CREATIONS

A UNIQUE + RARE BUSINESS MODEL
Very few companies do what Ginew does by focusing on critically important areas as well as staying true to our Ethos.

We are focused on people, planet, product and elevating Native Americana. Fiercely focused on transforming how Native culture is represented in the apparel industry.

Much of Ginew's production is in the U.S. with a focus on nature-provided materials, premium fabrication, Native American artist designs, and heirloom-quality materials and standards for many of our cut and sewn items. Our blankets and lined outerwear are meant to last and last... even be handed down, generation after generation. This is not an inexpensive commitment to our community and to our customers. Much of our collection uses premium materials including was canvas, raw denim, deadstock denim, 100% cotton shirts and other best-in-class materials. More detail about how we approach our garment construction process can be found visiting our MANUFACTURING page.

OUR ETHOS: EMBRACE POSSIBILITY
Transform the apparel industry.
Transform the people + planet versus profit-driven model.
Transform the historical representation of Native culture.
SMALL-BATCH CREATIONS
We understand that our garments are not close to being the cheapest in the market. There are several reasons that impact this. For most items, Ginew creates 50-100 or less which means we are not fast fashion, we are not mass producers and we do not receive mass production discounts. It's important to the founders, Erik and Amanda, to showcase Native American excellence, and producing small-scale production with quality materials and garments made in the USA is pricey - especially when we want to do it well and offer fair wages.
In the long term, we want to grow and use economies of scale to lower prices and expand our manufacturing places while still maintaining ethical practices. As a very small family business, it takes time to expand. We have identified more domestic and international resources that share our values so the goal is to offer lower pricing as production costs lower in the near future. We heard our community and responded to customers asking for installment options - so we do offer that during check-out.
WHAT YOU ARE PART OF
When you join the Ginew Community and purchase items from our collection...you are doing much, much more than supporting a Native American-owned business. You are part of the necessary change - you make a statement to be more sustainable by choosing to wear garments that hold up for years - you choose to respect stories and values and practices which have guided peoples in North America for millennia... you carry and share the symbols of kindness and unity included on our clothing... You elevate Native American voices in the apparel industry...you support a talent-incubator that sees the possibility of an Indigenous moment where the world is more whole and benefits from the richness of Native perspectives, ideas, leadership, and values. Thank you - Ginew  community for joining us all in this vision.

We greatly appreciate your interest in Ginew and having you part of the Ginew journey.
